Toni Braxton showed up and showed out on the launch night of her ‘Love & Laughter’ residency in Las Vegas.
The legendary diva teamed up with comic Cedric The Entertainer for the unique venture, which is housed at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan in Sin City.
Powering through her colossal collection of hits, the climax of the night saw the songbird soar with a seismic performance of her signature anthem, ‘Un-Break My Heart.’

I was at this show, and I really enjoyed Toni’s singing. She has fought a courageous battle against Lupus for nearly half her life, and it is heartwarming that she is well enough to have this (as of now) seven-show residency. On the other hand, Cedric the Entertainer for me fell flat. His crude jokes and cussing I did not find funny at all. But I mostly used the time that he was on stage to get refreshments or go to the restroom.
